Welcome to PanCoda! We are committed to creating a safe and fun learning environment for children to explore the world of coding. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your and your child's personal information.

By using the PanCoda application (the "App"), you, as a parent or guardian, consent to the practices described in this policy.

We take the privacy of children very seriously. Our App is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union, and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Thailand. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent.

We collect the following types of information:

• Information from Parents/Guardians: To create an account, we ask for a parent's or guardian's email address. We use this to communicate with you about your child's account and to obtain consent.
• Information from Children:
  • Account Information: We collect a username and password for the child's account. We encourage the use of usernames that do not reveal a child's real name.
  • Game Progress: We collect information about your child's progress and activities within the App to provide a personalized learning experience and to improve our game. This may include levels completed, challenges attempted, and in-game achievements.

No Personal Information is Required from Children to Use the App: Children are not required to provide any personal information like their real name, address, or phone number to use PanCoda.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as health data, biometric data, or information about race or religion.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Directly from you (the parent/guardian): When you create an account.
• Automatically: As your child uses the App, we automatically collect data on their game progress. We use cookies and similar technologies to support the internal operations of the App.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your child's account.
• To personalize the learning experience and adapt the game's difficulty.
• To provide you with progress reports about your child's learning.
• To improve our App and develop new features.
• To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
• To send you important notices about the App, such as updates to our terms or policies.

In accordance with COPPA and the PDPA, we will obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from a child. In Thailand, for children under the age of 10, we require the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian. We will use the parent's email address to send a consent form.

We do not sell your or your child's personal information. We may share information with the following types of third parties:

• Service Providers: We may use third-party companies to help us with services like hosting our servers or providing customer support. These companies are contractually obligated to protect the data and can only use it for the services they are providing to us.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

We will not share your child's personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

PanCoda uses Google AdMob to display age-appropriate, contextual advertising that complies with COPPA and children's privacy regulations. Our advertising practices include:

• Child-Directed Treatment: All ad requests are tagged for child-directed treatment under COPPA
• No Personal Data Collection: Advertising does not collect personal information from children
• Contextual Only: Ads are based on app content, not user behavior or tracking
• Human Review: All advertisements undergo human review for age-appropriateness
• General Audience Content: Only "G" rated content suitable for all ages
• No Interest-Based Ads: Personalized advertising and remarketing are disabled

Data Sharing with Google AdMob: We share only non-personal, contextual information necessary for serving appropriate advertisements. No personally identifiable information, location data, or behavioral tracking data is shared.

Parental Rights: Parents can contact us to request information about advertising practices or report inappropriate advertisements. Premium subscriptions remove all advertising.

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free.

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Review the personal information we have collected from your child.
• Request that we correct or delete your child's personal information.
• Refuse to permit further collection or use of your child's information.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.

We will retain your child's personal information for as long as their account is active or as needed to provide our services. We will delete the information when the account is deleted or upon your request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App or by sending you an email.
